Airsoft Gun Accessories

Prices for airsoft guns and gun accessories on the internet range from $0.49 for a single air cartridge all the way up to $3,000 for more sophisticated items. The cost of 50 pound 20 gram bb’s will run you as much as $200.00 dollars.

There are many accessories such as holsters, tactical vest, night scopes etc. The gun itself is very inexpensive. I was able to find revolvers, Uzi’s, submachine guns, hand guns, shotguns, you name it each priced at under $30.00. Take the popular M9 M92F Hand Gun for instance. This shoots at a rate of 200 epc and comes with a built in Hop-Up system. It is a 1:1 replica of the Beretta pistol. Its clip also holds roughly 15 rounds in the magazine. This is a very secure gun that can be used by the novice and the more experienced user alike. Again, the price is very inexpensive and it’s a good first air soft gun to test out.

Some of the larger airsoft guns available on the market include the Double Eagle m85 automatic rifle. This riffle has a few accessories with it. Included is a aim electric sight, one red laser, and a flashlight. Its clip holds 30 standard size bb’s. You also get the following:

I. Cleaning rod and users manual.
II. 7.2 volt rechargeable battery with charger;
III. Bag of 6mm bb’s
IV. Safety goggles
V. Mock silencer

Here is a video going over some of the parts and features:

Here is a diagram showing the various accessories that come with the gun and the gun itself.
airsoft_guns_m85Airsoft guns can be fired in three different ways depending on the type of gun. Understanding the different methods is crucial when buying accessories. You have the gas powered guns that utilizes either green gas, co2, or propane to fire. Then you have the electric models such as the m85 automatic rifle shown above. These guns are called automatic electric guns or aeg’s for short. These battery powered guns can fire at a realistic rate of anywhere between 600 to 900 shots per minute. This gives the user an upper hand over the gas powered user. Batteries are similar to the batteries available in most hobby model remote control cars. Last is the spring method gun that uses a spring to push the ammo out. These are still popular and are general used by the young novice. Keep which type of gun you have in mind before purchasing any accessories. If you have a gas powered airsoft gun then you will need to get cartridges instead of a battery pack. If your gun is spring powered, you need neither the battery or the cartridges.

What ever type of firing standard your airsoft gun has, you will be able to find many different resources available.

Airsoft Store Online Has A New Look!

We have been meaning to jazz up the look of Airsoft Store Online and finally we have managed to get it finished. We have a new graphic in the header, a logo to match our parters at Cheap-Ass Airsoft Guns. The layout of the site has also been changed, to a more minimalist design.

We would love your feedback, so let us know what you think in the comments.

When there is good news there is always something bad to go with it. Unfortunately our previous “massive” increase in the airsoft guns we have for sale at our online store has been reduced back down again. We are working on a solution that will ensure the existence of our airsoft store. We are considering starting a totally separate site to act as the “store behind the blog”. We will keep you updated!

Airsoft Guns Not Banned – April Fools!

With great pleasure and “Lollity” I confess yesterdays prank to be an April fools joke! We pulled the same prank over at CheapAssAirsoftGuns.com, which is where we blog (you can leave comments there).

We were mentioned on Airsoft Forum and Phoenix Airsoft as well as a few other places.

We are very sorry but we can’t stop laughing!
